Baseball 11-12 team

Game 1     Morada vs Sunset   WIN 15-2 in 3 1/2 innings

Morada was successful in their win today.  Boys played very well, no errors, and 3 HOMERUNS were hit….Hunter, Morrison & Dentoni!  Keep up the great work.

Game 2     Morada vs Western  WIN 6-3 in 6 innings

Morada was successful again in their win today.  Boys played very well, a few errors, and a all around great game. Keep up the great work. 

Game 3     Morada vs Hoover Tyler  LOSS 14-10 in 6 innings

Hard played game, but couldn't stop the 4 homeruns and grandslam hit by the Hoover boys.

Game 4     Morada vs Sunset  WIN 18-6 in 5 innings

Morada was successful again in their win today.  Homeruns hit by Morrison & Fleming.  A few errors, but overall a well played game.

Game 5    Morada vs Pacific WIN 11-0 in 3 1/2 innings

Morada came to play today!  Dentoni & Hunter pitched with no hits!  Homeruns hit by Hunter & Morrison.  Flawless game with no errors.  Gallagher & Dentoni each had a double.

Game 6    Morada vs Sunrise LOSS 9-4 in 6 innings

 Hard loss tonight.  Boys battled, but came up short in the end.  Homeruns hit by Mims & Dentoni. It's been a great Allstar tournament for the 11-12 team.  They came in 3rd in the city out of 13 teams!  Congratulations and enjoy the new chapter in your lives. 

Baseball 9-10 team

Game 1     Morada vs Hoover Tyler   LOSS 8-4

HOMERUN hit….Webb...CONGRATULATIONS!! 

Game 2     Morada vs Western    WIN 19-0

Our pitchers combined to strike out 12 batters in 4 innings.  Chandler Sanguinetti struck out 9 of the first 10 batters in the first 3 innings and Erik Christensen struck out 2 and Joseph Tidwell 1 in the forth.  Also combined for a 1 hitter in the 19-0 win.

Game 3     Morada vs Northern  WIN 40-1

Our pitching combined for a 2 hitter against Northern.  Our offense produced 40 runs in 4 innings. HOMERUN hit….Webb...CONGRATULATIONS!! 

Game 4     Morada vs Pacific  WIN 7-0

Bond, Sanguinetti and Christensen combined to pitch a 3 hit shutout in 6 innings.  Defense made only 1 error!  Sanguinetti made an unassisted double play from shortstop in the bottom of the 6^th. On the offense, Bond and Webb both had multiple hit games, each with a triple, and Augustin had a clutch, 2 out, bases loaded single to give Morada some much needed runs.

Game 5     Morada vs Sunrise  LOSS 9-7

It was a good game and the kids played hard.  They came back from an 8-2 deficit to make it close at the end.  The boys never gave up until the last out was recorded.  Although it is tough to be out of the tourney, the experience with these great kids will never be forgotten.
